Privacy statement
Terra Lumen is the business of Bridgette (Bree) Raitz, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 99290480. What I collect, and why
When you get in touch
If you write by email or by Instagram message, I receive your name, your contact details and whatever you choose to tell me. I use this only to reply and to carry out what you have asked.
When you acquire a stone or engage advisory services
I collect your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number for the courier, and payment record. I use these to fulfil the order, ship the piece, complete customs documents where required, and keep the accounts Dutch law requires.
When you join the mailing list
I collect your email address and, if you give it, your name. I send occasional news of offerings. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you may withdraw at any time.
When you visit this site
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Its pages, fonts and images are served from this website alone; nothing is loaded from third-party services when you view it. The company that hosts the site, Cloudflare, may process your IP address in order to deliver the pages to you and to protect the site from abuse.
Who else handles your data
I do not sell personal data. I share it only with the services that make the work possible: Constant Contact (mailing list), PayPal and my bank (payments), FedEx and PostNL (delivery), Google (email), and Cloudflare (website hosting). Some of these are based in the United States; where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is transferred under the safeguards EU law provides, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is active and up to two years after. Order and invoice records are kept for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the data I hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it. Write to bree@terralumen.nl and I will answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
